Hi, Zunbiganja. "Zunbiganja" wrote in message news:35ea5c32-f24f-4d6a-8247-1a6fc5a55afa@communitybridge.codeplex.com... Everytime I try to watch youtube with my new Windows 7, the computer crashes. Are you running 64-bit Windows? Are you running a 64-bit browser? Adobe is STILL working on a version of Flash that will work in a 64-bit browser. Their latest advice is STILL to use a 32-bit browser, even in a 64-bit operating system: Flash Player on 64-bit operating systems http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html Fortunately, Win7 x64 (and Vista x64) includes TWO versions of IE, BOTH the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions. You should find them here: 32-bit version: C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe 64-bit version: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe Windows comes with the 32-bit version set to run by default. But you can run either - or both side by side - just by starting them in the normal ways: from the Start menu or a shortcut or by browsing to the correct folder and double-clicking on the .exe file. And you can pin either - or both - to the Taskbar or Start menu. To be sure which one you are running at the moment, just click Help | About Internet Explorer; if the Version line does not say "64-bit Edition" then you are running the 32-bit Edition - and Flash should work. If you are running the 64-bit Edition, then Copy the URL from the 64-bit Address Bar, start 32-bit IE, Paste the URL there and press Enter. But, no matter how many times you follow the prompt to install Flash in 64-bit IE, you'll just get the same prompt again - with never an explanation as to WHY. :>( BAD move, Adobe! RC R. C.
