Xp desktop will not boot, all I hear is a single beep and the screen will not display.
Today, I was attempting to boot my computer up using the flash drive as the first booted item. I went into the BIOS and was succesful. Later that day, I restarted my computer in BIOS again to restore the correct boot settings so I pressed restore defaults. Now when I try to boot my computer all I hear is a single beep and the display says "No signal". Any help please?EDIT: Is it possible that when I restored default, that I turned of my Nvidia graphics card (Not stock with the computer) and now my monitor won't display because of me not having the Nvidia?

Are you able to start in Safe Mode? If you do then try to check the Graphic Card connection and make sure all cables and the Card seated nicely in its slot.It could be a sign the Card got knackered or you screwed up the BIOS (corrupted but it is unlikely to be in your scenario). nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk

A single beep normally means it's working. Does your motherboard have onboard graphics? If so, try connecting your monitor to that - it's possible the default BIOS settings are to use the onboard graphics even when a seperate graphics card is present.
