XP and wireless networking connection problems
I'm trying to connect my computer to the internet by using a wireless connection. My computer shows the router signal, shows that its wireless network is connected on the network connections page, but I'm unable to connect to the internet. No matter what website I try to go to, I get the error "page cannot be displayed". I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions? My operating system is Windows XP. Recently I had some problems with my windows coming up so I had to restore to the factory settings. Before I restored the computer to the factory settings I didn't have problems connecting to the internet.6 people need an answerI do too

Is the wireless router able to connect to internet? is the WAN/ADSL light blinking? go to your router configuration page and check for WAN/ADSL status. Did you pay your internet bill?

yes the router connects to the internet. The light is blinking and the router is completely working. I can access the internet with my psp just not computer. The software that came with my wireless adapter shows that there is an internet connection, but when I try to open up Internet Explorer I get the error"page cannot be displayed." I've went into the cmd and ran a ping test and have gotten back every ping that I sent.
