XP Security won't stop popping up and shutting down my internet access.
This happened this morning. All of a sudden, XP Security popped up continuously warning me about threats and stuff, and I don't even have any threats on my computer because my Norton 360 didn't see anything serious when I scanned it. I tried getting on the internet but it blocked it and won't let me go anywhere. All it shows is advertizing the "latest antivirus software". I really need help with this because my laptop had to be repaired last time this happened and all my stuff got deleted. It's on my laptop again and I don't want to get my stuff deleted again. They say that my firewall isn't up and my computer's protection software isn't on, AND IT IS! I need serious help because I can't delete this stuff!2 people need an answerI do too

See the Malware Removal Guides at BleepingComputer.com . Start your computer in Safe mode with networking and see if you can download the removal tools. If that doesn't work, download the removal tools on another computer and transfer them to your laptop.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

My husband had this happen to our home computer too this week. I went to safe mode w/ networking also but the pop ups still came up. I just did a system restore to 4 days earlier. This solved the pop up problems & am able to get on the internet, but I assume the malware is still hiding in the computer somewhere. I also downloaded a malware removal but is was still running when I left the house. Good Luck!
