I am using XP Pro. First time, I tried to backup yesterday, but I closed the window by mistake. Then when I tried again and again, it just failed again and again. It said: Backup StatusOperation: BackupActive backup destination: FileMedia name: "Documents+Favorite..bkf created 10/29/09 at 2:42 PM" Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:800423f4Aborting Backup. I saw the answer for this on web support, which is: "tick the box to turn off volume shadow copy on the advanced tab when using the wizard" But the box isinactive,I have no way to turn if off.
