XP Pro, No Domain, Administrator cannot change user password, also cannot add password to new account,
I have a small workgroup 3 XP Pro machines 2 Win 2000 machines. one of the XP pro machines will not let me change user passwords, nor can I add a password to a new account. The event is a 1716. The error is Password does not meet the policy requirment. I have checked the all the policy settings they all seem to be in order. the complexity, history, days are all disabled. Any help would be great.Thank You3 people need an answerI do too

Ditto here with the 1716. I'm using an HP laptop with cred manager. Also seeing event 17413. Account policies are disabled or zeroed. Anyone solved this?
