XP 64-bit VERY Slow accessing Network Drives and Directories
We have a few very high end Dell Precision workstations with 24 GB of RAM and 4 quad processors. When the users use My Computer on a network drive it can take up to a minute before the directories show up. Sometimes the flashlight appears. This latency is frustrating. However, in Windows Explorer it's almost instantaneous. The users prefer using My Computer.Any suggestions? Thanks. 1 person needs an answerI do too
