I have two users on XPSp3. Both are Admin level. I wanted to log off one user and log into the other, and got the warning that unsaved work will be lost.Is it just open files that are closed? Or do running programs also shut down whe you switch users?Ed1 person needs an answerI do too

When you log off a user, all programs started by that user are terminated.However, there is a feature called "Fast User Switching" which allows you to switch from one user to another without logging off the first user... thus all programs being run by the first user are maintained in their current state while the second user can start and run his/her own programs.
