XBox 360 cannot find PC on network
I have a home network with a PC(running XP with Media Player 11 and Norton Internet Security), a laptop (running Vista) and XBox360; all wireless. Until now XBox has registered and accessed both laptop and PC and I've displayed pictures and played music files from both through XBox. Now, Xbox just says 'PC not listed' and tells me there's a connection problem. The PC and laptop share OK on the network. I've checked Media Player is set to share media - and XBox is listed along with laptop and ticked to share with default settings - all media types. XBox support guy cycled through all his options annd eventually said it must be a problem with the PC firewall. Norton support guy uninstalled Norton and still same problem so he's convinced it's not a firewall issue.. Friend suggested a router issue but a) nothing changed since it last worked b) the laptop is still accessible from XBox through same router. (Also XBox Live is OK through router) This is now 'doing my head in'! Can anyone suggest anything please?!3 people need an answerI do too

Double check and or disable windows firewall and Disable Norton Internet Security's firewall (not an uninstall). Try rebooting into safe mode with networking and see if you xbox can find it then.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

Thanks; tried it with both windows firewall and Norton disabled, booted in safe mode with networking. Still same - Laptop and PC visible and accessible but XBox still lists Laptop but reports 'PC unlisted'. Regards,
