Wuauclt.exe and Generic Host Process Errors
I am running Windows XP Pro (16-Bit) SP3 using Parallels Desktop 5 on a brand new Mac Pro desktop. I started out with Windows 7 Pro and then went back to XP due to compatibility issues of my windows software. As soon as I log into windows, I get a wuauclt.exe error. At some point, I also get a generic host process for win32 services error. My Kaspersky Internet Security installed successfully, but it will not update databases and application modules to give my computer protection. Firewall and automatic updates for windows are turned on successfully. So far, Parallels support team has been unsuccessful with a remedy, and Kaspersky says it is up to them to work out my issues. I am hoping Microsoft has some workable solutions.
