Hi Ladycat2,Which antivirus software is installed on your computer?It's best that you update your antivirus database definition and run regular scan to avoid infections. For now, try the following steps to fix the issue.Step 1: Delete Worm.Win32.NetSky files a) Click your Windows Start menu, and then click “Search.”b) At the prompt “What do you want to search for?”, click “All files and folders.”c) Type Worm.Win32.NetSky file in the search box, and select “Local Hard Drives.”d) Click “Search.” Once the file is found, delete it. Step 2: Stop Worm.Win32.NetSky processes: a) Click the Start menu, select Run. b) Type taskmgr.exe into the the Run command box, and click “OK.”c) Click Processes tab, and find Worm.Win32.NetSky processes. d) Once you’ve found the Worm.Win32.NetSky processes, right-click them and select “End Process” to kill Worm.Win32.NetSky . Step 3: Remove Worm.Win32.NetSky registry keys: Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. How to back up and restore the registry in Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756 a) Select your Windows menu “Start,” and click “Run.” b) Type “regedit” and click “OK” to open up your Registry Editor.c) Delete the following registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IS2010HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “Internet Security 2010″HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “winupdate86.exe”d) As soon as Worm.Win32.NetSky registry key appears, you can delete the Worm.Win32.NetSky registry key by right-clicking it and selecting “Modify,” then clicking “Delete.” Step 4: Delete Worm.Win32.NetSky DLL files: a) First locate Worm.Win32.NetSky DLL files you want to delete.
