Won't SHUTDOWN while desktop is LOCKED
I am currently developing a mobile image for the organization that I work for and a function that I have been asked to incorporate is to have the machine shutdown when the lid is closed. I have set all of the GP Button settings to SHUTDOWN and disable SLEEP, both while plugged and un-plugged. When a user is logged in with the desktop up this works great! The problem is that if the workstation is locked when the lid is closed the machine won't shutdown. Is there a GPO or Registry setting that will shutdown a locked machine when the lid switch is depressed?Thank you for any help.....
