With a wireless connection, only one of the 2 user accounts on the cpu is able to connect to the internet.
How do I get internet explorer to open on my secondary user account? It shows that the cpu is connected to the internet but when I try to log on, it tells me internet explorer cannot display the webpage. When I diagnose the connection problems, it detects two ways to connect, an ethernet and a wireless. I change it to the wireless setting and it instructs me to contact XP support.2 people need an answerI do too

If the computer is also connected with a cable take out the cable.Set the Metrics to prefer the Cable connection, thus when you plug it in again it uses the Cable.http://www.ezlan.net/metrics.htmlOtherwise to make sure that the Wireless works well, maybe this can Help.My Wireless does not work - http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.htmlWireless Basic Configuration - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.htmlWireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html Jack MVP-Networking.
