Wireless zero configuration when laptop reboots always turns off
Hi, I have gone through the forum and all related answers but I still have a problem. Last year I bought a toshiba laptop, Sat Pro-L291. The laptop had a vista installed. My PC technician removed the vista and installed instead a windows XP program. Since the very first day I had problems connecting to the wireless internet. Although the wireless zero configuration is set to automatic every time the computer reboots the WZC service is trurned off and I have to start it manually and this is happening all the time. Basically what I noticed the tab showing the 'wireless networks' from windows XP system is not showing every time the computer reboots. I have to go to the services, start the WZC and then go and start the windows XP wireless tab so the windows XP can configure the wireless internet connection. i also noticed that when the Atheros is on there is a confilct with the wireless internet connection. It is not my internet because I have tried connecting to the wireless internet at another country and still had the same problem. I tried everything says in this forum but I can not see to fix the problem. The technician says everything is fine but nothing is fine. What can I do? Thank you 1 person needs an answerI do too

HiMany Laptops' Wireless installs the manufacturer Wireless Utility. When you start the Laptop the utility runs and disables WZC.Look at the StartUp folder, fin out if there is a Wireless utility loading up.If there is get rid of it.As for WZC, http://www.ezlan.net/wzc.html Jack-MVP Windows Networking.
