Wireless problems with 3 computers using Windows 7 and XP.
I have to explain something first ... I have Multiple Sclerosis which affects my cognitive thinking and memory. That is one reason why I am having trouble ... because I can't remember how I got my laptop to connect wirelessly to my desktop and get the internet. My primary desktop is running Windows 7 and connected to a Verizon wireless router. No problems with it and getting on the internet. I have a Linksys Range Expander because my primary desktop is at one end of my house. I have a laptop running Windows XP, using a Belkin adapter and I am getting good signal and can connect to the internet. I have another desktop at the other end of the house running Windows XP and using another Belkin adapter. I have excellent signal strength but cannot connect to the internet.I have tried everything in the manuals, calling both Belkin and Linksys, and what I could find online, so far. I recall being able to put the network info on a flash drive back when I had XP on my primary computer, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that in Windows 7.Any suggestions to try?
