Wireless networks not showing in 'Managg Wireless Networks'
Jim It’s not a lot of work to remove the connection and set it up again: REMOVE THE CONNECTION Go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Network and Sharing Center > Manage Wireless Networks (in the left pane) and right-click the one you want to Remove. CREATE A NEW CONNECTION Go Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Network and Sharing Center > Set up a new connection or network > Manually Connect to a Wireless Network > Next. Type in the Network Name (SSID), select the Security Type and type in the Wireless key. Then tick ‘Start this connection automatically’ and ‘Connect even if the network is not broadcasting‘ > Next. Subsequent connections will be automatic.

I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and a Linksys router. Everything was working fine until I decided to add security. I added the security code (I have an HP wireless printer too) to my machine, router and printer and everything is working.....except I can't see the Wireless network in the Network and Internet under the control panel. The reason I'm looking even is that the code I have to enter every time I log on for the network. I would think it would be able to store the security code and long on without me entering it (at lease all I've read says you should be able to do that) but I can't get to the network parameters to do that. Any ideas why it went away? Thanks. JimJR
