Wireless network problem following installation
I'm not an IT expert. I successfully installed Windows 7 RC over my Vista system. The only problem I've run into is that I am unable to connect this machine to our wireless home network (as it previously had been with Vista). The Linksys Wireless-G USB adapter displays as working properly under Device Manager. In addition, connection icon at bottom of window shows signal, click and shows home network. However, cannot connect to the network. Any thoughts? Please respond in plain english as best you can. Thanks.

Hi Hobnobr,When you connect to home network, what error does prompt? In the connection icon , try right click home network and select Properties. If there are any credential or settings saved there, try to remove them and then connect to home network to check if it works.BRLeon

Fyi to get the wireless network working you need to ensure that the ssid and passphrase is the same for both the wireless connection as well as the router config page. I suggest you set everything as default, once you get it up then enable the security as in wep, wpa etc
