Wireless is MIA after OS Reload
I just reloaded the operating system XP on my Compaq Presario R3000. Now wireless can not be found in the network connections. When I look in the device manager there are yellow question marks by Base System Device, HP integrated Bluetooth module,Multimedia Audio Contoller, Network controller, PCI Modem and SM Bus Controller (VGA compatibl). Network adaptors (1394 Net adaptor and Realtek RTL8139 Family Pci Fast Ethernet NIC) look good. Do I need to reload drivers? If so how do I find them? I have the Application and Driver Recovery DVD, would it be there? I really struggled reloading the operating system, and some of these post are real technical, should I have a pro do this?1 person got this answerI do too

After you do a clean intall of an operating system you must then install the drivers for all your hardware. The driver recovery DVD should have all the drivers you need so use it.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
