Wireless internet mess
Ok, so today I decided to finally format my computer. I re-downloaded windows xp HE and now I want to connect it to the internet. Since I don't have any of the service packs, its not a simple "plug and play" I have a wireless pci plugin (the one you put in the back of the computer, not usb), and installed it.In our house we have a wireless router that is connected to a modem. Without the service pack, I cannot seem to connect to the modem. I tried using the only option there was(a wireless setup) to connect to another laptop in the house. After connecting it in a network, I finished and for some reason it does not show up under the connections available. I am stuck. Is there any way to download the service packs onto a flash drive? What should I do to have my computer updated? Thanks for your help. -Derek1 person needs an answerI do too

http://oit.pdx.edu/files/8021x_xp_21.jpgCheck the highlighted part of the screenshot. My computer will not display it. It also does not show the wireless icon in the right bottom corner. It's like the computer does not know what wireless internet is. Does anyone have a suggestion?
