Wireless group policy needed to only allow end users to see 1 wireless network (SSID) in a Windows XP SP 3 environment.
The school system I support has a wireless network with a "workstation" and "visitor" SSIDs. The Workstation SSID is configured for limited visability to many areas and is intended for student use. The visitor SSID is as the name implies for visiting parents/teachers etc...Currently some students have discovered they can go into the view available wireless networks, double click on the visitor SSID and get out on their network. I need a group policy or workaround for Windows XP SP3 that willprevent the students from seeing anything but the workstation wirleless network. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!2 people need an answerI do too

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I found that you can do this on Windows 7 using "netsh wlan..." commands, but they don't work in Windows XP.
