Wireless connection stops working when I login my Windows 7
I recently installed a router to share my internet connection between 2 computers in the house. the router : belkin wireless enhanced router f6d4230-4 v1 One of the computers is wired, the other is wireless. the wired one uses Win7 Home 64bit the wireless one uses WinXP wireless adapter : MSI US300EX Lite II Wireless N USB2.0 Adapter 802.11N 150MBPS The wireless connection works perfectly on the WinXP pc until I login on the Win7 pc. If I just start the pc, and dont login, everything is okay. I tried turning off all the protections on the router, I updated the firmware, updated the wireless usb adapter, and it doesnt change a thing. Any of you know what is wrong in windows 7, the router or Windows XP that could be causing this. thank you

Hi, Please understand that this is Windows Vista Forum. In order to get the answer effectively, it is recommended to submit a new question in Windows 7 Forum. Personally, you may take the following suggestions to have a try: 1. Please check if it is able to connect with the wire connection when both the computers are logged on. 2. If the computer is connecting to a router, please bypass it and connect to the network directly for a test. 3. Please refer to the following article: Network connection problems in Windows Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
