Wireless capability turned off.
Since installing Windows 7 I have not been able to turn wireless on on my HP have been into device manager and updated the wireless adapters. I have been into Start/devices and printers and there is a yellow exclamation mark on the pc icon. When I run troubleshooting on it it tries to download a driver for the infrared device but is unable to complete due to my lack of administrative rights - but it's my pc and I'm the only user! How do I restore wireless capability?

Hi Henza , when it goes to internet for driver search it does not find the right driver thats why its not installing it so kindly contact your vendor he can provide you the original driver for it than it will work. Hi, Which brand or model of the machine? Is there a yellow exclamation mark beside the Wireless adapter in Device Manager? This issue can occur by incompatible Wireless adapter driver. Please access the manufacturer’s website and download the latest driver for the adapter. If the issue persists or you cannot locate the driver, please let me know the detail model of the machine. I will be glad to assist you to find the driver.
