Wireless Zero Controller Automatic Start
Hi, Well my problem is with the Wireless Zero Controller. Currently, I need it to be the default wireless controller on my computer and to start every time my computer starts. The problem is that every time I restart, I have to run services.msc, open WZC and then start it. Until I do that I can't connect to the internet wirelessly. The start up type says automatic but it isn't. Is there anything I can do to fix it so that I don't have to manually start it and then get on the internet? It's just a pain to do every time. Thanks for the replies, Mike2 people got this answerI do too

Un-install any wireless connection utility program that came with your wireless network adapter. Reboot and see if the Wireless Zero Configuration service starts.

This laptop that is experiencing the problem has been up and running for a few years. But now when we restart we have to run services.msc and start the wireless zero configuration, although it says it is automatic. Then I have to go into the advanced settings and have click for windows to connect. But it doesn't stay. You mention to un-install any wireless connection utility program what woiuld i be looking for.

Look for a wireless networking icon in the notification area at the lower right of the screen. Look for a wireless connection utility (from Belkin, D-Link, Linksys, Netgear, etc) in Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs .
