Wireless Network not on computer
I had to crash my old (2003)laptop and now it wont let me install wireless network and on left side of the screen, the blue section is not there. How do I fix this? Thanks!!1 person needs an answerI do too

1. I restored my computer and used the system restore cd's.2 I tried installing the service packs from microsoft3 The left side of the screen is the part where it says "network tasks" and the subtasks are, create a new connection set up wireless accounts etc...

Was the restore successful?2. Were your attempts to install service packs successful? Are you now up to service pack 3? Did you return to Windows Update to get all "critical" updates post-service pack 3?3. You haven't explained what screen you're on, but try the following:click Tools on the menu bar. On the "General" tab, click the radio button to "show common tasks in folders"Click OK

Microsoft started with service pack 3. Now it tells me I dont need service pack 1 or 2. My computer recogonizes my wireless card however it does not see any wireless routers or any other connections. I tried finding updates from Linkys but I think it might be the computer, It doesnt have wireless capabilities.
