Wireless Network not detected
I have a 6-7 year old IBM T41 notebook, and I just installed Windows 7 Professional, which does not detect my home Linksys wireless router. I know it was working under previous OS, but I don't know what steps to take to test this out. I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Joe

Were you able to find network drivers for the T41? (Ensure that there are no dings in the Network section of Device Manager) Does it see any Wireless network in the vicinity? Are you using Windows Zero Config to view Wireless Network or the IBM Wireless software?

Hi, I could not find any new drivers for W7 at IBM's http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-46258 for drivers. it does not see any wireless network at all. It is as if its switch is turned off, although it doesn't have one. I don't know about Windows Zero Config. Could you walk me through? Thanks.

Hi, Please run Windows Update and see if the issue can be resolved. If the issue persists, go to Device Manager to reinstall the wireless network adapter. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

Has your issue been resolved since the MSFT has reported it as answered?
