Wireless Network Problem
Have had no problem with my wireless network to connect to the internet till yesterday. Now there are issues "indentifying" the network which is only connected locally....despite a very good signal. The modem is working as I can connected via wireline both directly to the modem and through the router.I've tried disabling the wireless encryption and that was not the problem.Any help?

Hello DGNY, If you haven't already, try running the Network Diagnostics tool in Vista. Right-click the network icon in the notification area in the taskbar andclick Diagnose and repair. For more details, please see: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-SG/Help/7f826a04-b9c3-4edf-bdb6-100691b7319f1033.mspx If that doesn't fix it, then try unplugging the router for about 30 seconds and plug it back in. The router may just need a reboot. Let us know how it goes. -- Eric Cross Microsoft MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) http://mvp.support.microsoft.com

Hi DGNY, You may also upgrade your wireless network driver. If the issue still occurs, only connect with the wireless connection and disconnect the wired connection. Then let us know the result.
