Again just a note of my own experience in case it helps someoneI had used Support article ID 814004 re: sharing files & folders and found this to be great and easy to follow, but it doesn't cover one aspect for the situation I haveWe have 5 users set up on our home networkI had set up all the steps as per the article, on my own userI could access my own shared folders on each machine but none of the others - I got a "you don't have permission...........etc" error messageThis was solved by logging in as each user individually on both machines, and sharing their own folder, logged on as them.I just unticked and then re ticked each of the 2 check boxes in the sharing section, and then applied the changeMakes sense if you think about it as previously I had done all the permissions etc logged on as me - so had given permission on their behalf. They obviously have to do this themself1 person needs an answerI do too
