i have 2 XP laptops, my wifes and Mine.We travel and when we do, i use my wireless usb aircard to connect to the internet.i set us internet connection sharing, shared the usb aircard connection and set up an ad-hock network.my wife connects to my computer which in turn gives her access to the shared usb aircard internet connection.this worked fine up to a few months ago. Nothing that i know of has changed.However, now when she joins my ad-hock network, after 20 seconds, my internet connection gets disconnected.i have tried completely removing and reinstalling every aspect of this set up but i get the same results.i have tried re-arranging the order in which i do things (she joins network first, or i connect to internet first) but i get the same results.What the heck happened? did i get an update that disallowed my set up or something? i know that i can have both my usb aircard connection AND wireless at the same time but now, even if i try to use my wireless printer while im on line with the aircard, the air card connection will drop.Oh, and i have set up the aircard both with the software provided for dialing and also set up just a regular old dial up connection. both get me to the same place, and both drop as soon as someone joins my wireless network.Please help.. this is driving me nuts.thanks so much.michael1 person got this answerI do too
