I have been back onto the Toshiba website and discovered I'd tried to download the incorrect wireless LAN driver. After downloading it and restarting my Laptop, I can connect wirelessly to the internet.G Holehouse

I have a Toshiba Satallite L650 Laptop with Windows 7. It's been running fine for a year until this week. My PC & the laptop lost internet connection, I discovered device manager and re-enabled my wireless network adapter on my PC. I've checked my laptop in device manager, but it is no longer showing any wireless network adapter! I tried to restore to an earlier date but this made no difference, I installed the BIOS update, still no difference. I went on Toshiba's website and downloaded wireless lan drivers but this made no difference either. Does anyone have any advice they can give me in very simple terms as I am struggling to know what to do next. Anything would be appreciated! Thanks

Have you checked in the BIOS to ensure the wireless adapter is enabled. Your wireless adapter may have died and needs to be replaced. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. After thinking that finally I'd solved the problem, here we are two days later and suddenly the wireless driver has disappeared again! Is this a virus or update that's doing this - any idea's anyone?G Holehouse
