My wireless LAN card was disabled after removing WMP12 feature and I am not able to re-enable the wireless LAN no matter what I try. I refuse to activate the WMP12 feature due to the WMP Network Sharing Service continuously runs even after I manually disable it in the component services manager. How can I get my wireless LAN back without enabling WMP12?

The fix: Opened Device Manager and uninstalled wireless Network Adapter choosing the "Delete the driver software for this device" option. Restarted the computer and the Network Adapter was present and enabled. Added the network of my choosing and connected.
