Wireless Connection Unauthenticated - WLAN to LAN Domain with NAP and Radius
Wireless Hardware: Sonicwall NSA 3500 and Sonicpoint N Access Points Running a Server 2012 NAP with Radius configured. When a client joins the wireless network I get an event in the event log telling me that Radius has granted full access, so that seems to be setup correctly. At this point I have some strange problems. I have fully functioning internet access, so that is not an issue. The issue relates to accessing domain resources. I can ping hosts on my domain network successfully. DNS resolution on the other hand works only to some hosts, and is using my PDC for DNS. I can sometimes browse, very slowly, file shares. But not always. Also the wireless connection is showing as unauthenticated. Is this the source of my problems? Or should I look to the Sonicwall as a problem? Thanks, TJ

I can sometimes browse, very slowly, file shares. But not always. Did you enable branchcache service? Balaji Kundalam

No BranchCache in our environment. It turns out that it was a Sonicwall routing issue. They have a hidden config page, and changing these two options magically fixed my problems: disable "Enable TCP sequence number randomization" and/or "Perform SYN validation when not operating in strict TCP compliance mode" Looks like some sort of Sonicwall routing issue, now I need to track down the real cause and see what these TCP settings really do. Thanks for the reply though.
