Wireless
I have an IBM T43 thinkpad laptop. I copied Win 7 Beta onto my machine. Since then I cannot connect via my wireless. I am able to get on via a cable but the wireless light is not on. In the network sharing centre there is no manage connections. Any ideas how I can get my wireless working, which was working before 7 Beta. Thanks

My guess you need to install the driver for the wireless card. Can probably use the Vista driver. Look in the device manager and you will see a question mark by the wireless card indicating that the driver is bad or not present.

I've tried using the vista drivers for my T43 and they don't work. Windows 7 just ignores them and says it can't find the drivers. I had to use a netgear wireless card - that works fine.

here is what i did...use a cable connection, go to lenovo's website go to downloads and driverslook for a link to automatically download and install driversfind and run the auto download program- thinkvantage system update 3.14it should load the necessary network drivershttp://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/TVSU-UPDATE.html#DLPMy Laptop wireless works fine now, with the exception of trying to print to a printer connected to the USB port of a desktop windows 7 machine. All of my other machines are able to print through the windows 7 desktop machine except for my windows 7 wireless T43P.I have not been able to come up with a work around yet. Hopefully this will be resolved as Win 7 nears release
