Hi, im trying to connect my laptop with vista home premium to my desktop withxpSP2via crossover cable. i gave them both static ips and put them both on a workgroup called MSHOME but my vista reads it as an unidentified network. however if i go into the xp's network connections, Local Area Connection says connected. how do i get my vista to share files with my xp?
