Wired/Wireless network
My daughter sent me back the CPU from my old PC computer. I would like to network it to my wireless laptop since there is no monitor for it. The old PC is not wireless capable so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me how to set up a network with no monitor for the PC. Both laptop and desktop are running XP SP21 person got this answerI do too

You'll have to connect a monitor to the old computer while you set it up for networking. You can connect it to your wireless router using an Ethernet network cable.Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional

Since we dont know in what status is you old computer network card functioning , is the ip set manually or DHCP is enabled its being a complicated job, working with a blind PC, You have not mention what router you are using to network , Any way just connect a cable to you router and the old PC Rest up tou you (better buy a monitor) go for used one if you dont want too expensive one Regards and Best of LuckSohail Khan
