The following problem occurs on my husband's computer that runs Windows XP Home with Internet Explorer 7.Problem: At any time, whether on web or not, computer restarts on its own repeatively. This error occured 11/21/10 at 9:1701pm. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report that you can send to us. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous. Hi little09red, Do you remember any changes made on your computer prior to the issue? Follow the below methods: Method 1:Run System File checker scan on your computer, you may refer the below link for the steps: Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747 Method 2:a. Insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and then restart the computer. Follow any on-screen instructions to start the computer from the CD-ROM drive.b. When the Welcome to Setup screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.c. If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.d. When you are prompted to do so, type the Administrator password, and then press ENTER. If the Administrator password is blank, press ENTER.e.
