Winkey shortcut work even though disabled
Hello,
I have a LG R510 laptop, and at some point the winkey started to act as if pressed constantly. It happened both in Windows 7 and Linux, so I suspect it's a hardware issue and I can't fix it (If you know better please tell!).
I searched around and found guides to disabling the winkey and its shortcuts. I remapped the winkey to nothing in the Registry, and disabled the winkey shortcuts. The winkey doesn't open the start menu anymore, but whenever I press L, U, P or the arrows
inside a window, the shortcuts still work (those are the only letter shortcuts that still work, winkey+D, for example, doesn't work anymore).
How can I completely get rid of the winkey shortcuts?
Thanks in advance,
Maria.

Hi,
I suggest updating the chipset and touchpad driver from LG website.

If the issue persists, you may need to contact LG support to confirm the hardware issue.Niki Han

Hi Niki,
I have already tried the steps on the second link before (didn't help as I mentioned).
I updated the drivers, but I can't tell if it help because the keyboard stopped acting up
before the update for some magical reason. Right now everything's back to normal and the winkey shortcuts don't activate on their own.
Thanks a bunch!
