Windows xp SP3 installation - connectivity problem
Good day, I installed XP SP 3 last night on my laptop. Everything went fine with the download and installation, but after installation I cannot access internet. The computer indicates that the “connection is now connected”, but still I cannot access any internet site. I have tested the modem/router and connection on my other computer and that works fine, which makes me believe that something changed with the installation of SP3. The adapter on my machine is a VIA Compatable Fast Ethernet Adaptor, Date 7/1/2001 and version 2.66.0.290 Please assist
