Windows updates fail to install and revert

Good afternoon,

I've been having problems updating Windows.  It will download them and install but at the end it reverts back.  It has not been installing most updates.  How do I manually install the ones I am missing - sporadic updates since Dec 14.

Thanks,
Russ

Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type update and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

If an error has occurred, an error code and a link to Help will be displayed.

You can try to install updates one at a time to determine which update is failing. To do this, open Windows Update from Control Panel (or type Windows Update at the Start Screen and select from results), then click the link for the number of updates and uncheck all but the desired update. Click OK, then click Install Updates.

You can also try the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
