Windows update failed on windows 8.1

Hi All,

I got a scenario, windows update failed with an error code : 8024500C.

I tried everything: windows troubleshooter, it says 0x80070490 is fixed.. every time I ran .

Tried SFC/scannow, DISM with restore health option, no luck. Both failed saying hash value missmatch for cnbj2530.dpb

Unable to do refresh.

Any insights would really appreciated.

Do you have a Canon printer? cnbj2530.dpb is associated with it.

Which DISM command have you tried? You need to run the following commands:

dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

I shall suggest you to go through the following link:

Can you go for a System Restore?

Hi,

I just make a supplement, to fix this problem, you can also try to use Windows system restore to revert your system to a former normal time point for test.

On the other to know more about this error code, it would be better to analyze CBS.log which locate at:

C:\windows\log\cbs

Would you please upload the cbs.log to OneDrive and post the shared link here?
