I have not really been able to install any updates on my 64bit beta machine. Everytime I try to search for updates in Windows Update, I get generic connection time out errors, lately 8024402B. I am able to connect to the web, browse at normal speeds. I ran a speed test and I am getting what I should be getting. I even tried installing a PCI NIC, a Realtek RTL8139/810x Family, because I thought it might be related to drivers for my onboard Intel 82566DC Gigabit.One time I searched for updates, it found KB961367, which took 6 hours to download, and it would get a timeout error after downloading every 3 or 4%. I would tell it to try again and it wouold start downloading agin from where it failed.I have tried disabling the firewall, antivirus, and putting the machine into the DMZ. Nothing helps.

Hi Chris The problems with Windows Update have beenbugged and are being worked on. Except for Windows Defender andMicrosoft Office, there have only been 2 updates, oneImportant and one Recommended Windows Updates for Windows 7, at this point in time.
