Windows update - Wrong time Issues

I have just bought six Samsung NP 350E7C Laptops running Windows 8 all in a line being installed....

Something is not quite right with the date and time.

Start off correct time  ( I have one with Internet time turned off so that is not the problem)

start Windows update ....download... install usually process

time reads correct as it progresses......

restart as instructed

Time now reset to the time Windows update started  ( yesterday evening was displayed first thing this morning)

Although I reset the time every subsequent Windows update does the same

Very weird  ( I don't think it's the RTC as time just stops and not reset to date in the past)

Check your Time Zone and see if it is correct?

Report this to the PC manufacturer's support (Samsung)

Thank you Mr Bob, 6 months later, I bought the same laptop and had exactly the same issue. I noticed something was wrong but did not realized it was caused by windows update until I read your post. That's a very strange issue but it's happening exactly as you describe it. It's sad Samsung did not release any patch for this.

Thanks again!
