Windows update
I keep get the explorer crash when I launch windows update. I checked the reg entrythat I read here and its named correctly what else can I try.And also I lost my window7 boot screen its now the one in Vista.

Try deleting all the files in your temp folder. It seemed to do the trick for me.C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Temp

I have reported this bug to Microsoft via the connect site: I have created a dump file as requested, and it is uploading as I compose this message. Hopefully we stomp out these errors prior to the RC.

Looks like your temp directory. I cleared mine out. I still have issues on reboot with it.

I got it working I went into the registryHKLM\Software\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessionsand deleted everything there except for Default and it works now. But there isnt as many updates as I thought there would be. I havent had any but for windows defender

Hi,I have also lost my 7 bootscreen. It's now the vista one ... (I don't even have vista installed ...)Win7 64bits on SSD.

Lol I really liked the windows 7 boot screen too. I dont want to fool with the boot stuff till someone posts something on how to correct it.
