Windows stuck in offline cache mode
Troubleshooting PC's on a domain that I am new to. Things were screwed up when we got here. It seems there was a GP applied that had redirected some users' profiles and my documents to a server. It must have been set to leave the folders redirected whend unapplied, because there is no GP now, and some users are still redirected, by no other visible method. Users are saving files in their My Documents, which is on the server. It seems those files aren't actually being saved on the server though. When a user goes to another computer and opens up the same folder, the changes are not there. I ran process monitor on the original computer and accessed the server folder. When I did that, the computer looked in C:\windows\csc\namespace\<server sharename> to actually get the file. It looks like the computer is stuck in cache mode, even though it says offline files are disabled! Bits of Fury

Please check if the users are roaming profiles. If they are roaming profiles, please understand that they will be synchronized with the server when the profile is logged off. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

I see this is checked with the green check mark. Please define the steps to get back online. Our computer is also "stuck" offline...unable to send/receive/view emails, etc. in Outlook 2010. VERY frustrating!
