Windows shows unable to check the error of a specific drive and shows system volume information is corrupted.
Hi,I'm currently using microsoft windows XP SP3 and this is an original copy provided by msdnaa.Recently I'm facing a problem which is completely unknown to me. That is-> Suddenly windows notification alerts me by showing "System Volume Information of X drive has corrupted, please check the fix the error".Even once my pc restarted showing blue screen. But now when i tried to perform check and fixing error by selecting the drive's tool menu, after phase 2 it shows, "Unable to fix/check the errors".Now please tell me why this is happening to my pc? Should I need to change my Hard Disc Drive?My OS info:Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 Professional Edition.My hardwares are ->Intel 915G motherboardIntel Pentium 4 3.03GHz hyper threading processor2GB of DDR 400 RAMHDD -> Raid 0: 320GB of sata (samsung 7200rpm) Raid 1: 500GB of sata (samsung 7200rpm) Raid 2: 80GB of sata (samsung 7200rpm)this one is pretty older.
