Windows security authentication
have IE8 and Win7 Pro 64. When I log in to my company email using Outlook Web App (it's internet, not intranet or Windows Mail or Outlook Express), and click on Options, I get a Windows Security box that prompts me for a UserID and password. I already
got into my email with a UserID and pass, so why does it ask again? The frustrating part is even when I re-enter my ID/pass, it doesn't let me in. It shows my domain as my computer name and the security box appears again with another icon below
the original icon and it prompts for another account. When I click cancel, I get a 401 Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. Firefox also opens a security box but it lets me access after I type in my ID/pass. But that security
window shouldn't pop up in the first place. It doesn't happen on another computer (Windows 2000) that uses IE6. This has also happened on other sites that require a UserID and Password even after I enter the correct ID/Pass. What settings can I change
to disable the security window without compromising normal security?

Hi, after checking your issue, it seems the configuration of Exchange Server. Did this issue occur when you use other Email? Such as Hotmail? As Nano said, it is
a possible that your company IT have set some security policy of it.

It doesn't happen on Hotmail, but it does happen on other log-in sites (such as our county school system where parents can log in). Firefox is ok, so I'm guessing it's an IE8 problem?

Hi, please try to perform these following steps:
1 Restore IE advanced settings:
IE----Tools----Internet Options----Advanced----Restore advanced setting
2 Close Pop-up Blocker:
Internet Option----Privacy---Pop-up Blocker, remove the option “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”
3 Add your email website to Trusted sites:
Internet Option----Security, choose Trusted sites and click Sites, add the website to it.
4 Clear SSL state and Certificates of IE:
Internet Option----Content----Certificates, click “Clear SSL” and “Certificates”
Hope it works
