Windows removing .exe file from application

I am running a companion program with another primary program. ( WSJT-X, primary program ) (JT-Alert, companion program). When I first attempted to download a new version of JTAlert it would download with the exception of three .exe files. The problem appeared to be an issue with the McAfee virus software that I run. When I disabled McAfee the program downloaded with no issues and would operate the same. Once McAfee was fully running the JTAlert program would disappear and when I checked the file I would find that the jtalert.exe file gone. I would copy a new jtalert.exe back into the file and the program would work fine for a period of time and than disappear once again. I have contacted McAfee support and they tell me that there is an issue between Windows OS and the JTAlert program. They pointed me to the prefetch file and stated that there were several issues between Windows OS and other programs that I have installed. None of the other programs are giving me any problems but the one mentioned above. McAfee didn't want to fix the problem until I paid a pretty good chunk of change for fixing one issue.

I have listed all three of the .exe files in the McAfee excluded list, and so far two of them seem to be getting ignored. So I am looking for any help in addressing the unexplained removal of the jtalert.exe file

Hi,

According to your description, obviously, you program was removed into Antivirus quarantine. In my opinion, it's not Windows problem, you can set a white list for these files in McAfee for test.
