Windows fails to boot, hard disk could not be found, recognises safe mode BUT fails to boot.
hey guys, i was wondering if someone can help me... i just got a new netbook (samsung nf210) for university and one week into it, it turns on the following problems occur: 1 - when selecting "start windows normally" it does not show the loading screen, but black screens 2 - when selecting "repair system configurations" it loads up, but when selecting "startup repair", it comes up "startup repair cannot solve the problem" the error "hard disk could not be found" comes up. selecting other options on that screen does not work except for "command prompt" 3 - when using a Win7bootable USB tool and loading "repair system config", all options work BUT "startup repair" comes up with windows could not solve problem identifying "a recent installation or update may have caused this error" SO naturally, i would use "system restore" and restore the system to a recent date, which i did but nothing happened. restoring to the date previous to it results in a "system restore could not finish the repairs etc." the other options load their respective pages but dont fix the problem. and yeah "command prompt" works. 4 - when pressing f8 and loading "safe mode", it loads and recognises C:\ but stops when it reaches "classpnp.sys" ----- so, as far as my computer knowledge goes...i dont think the connectors to the hard drive is damaged as BIOS recognises C:\ and files can be recognised/loaded when going into "safe mode" (correct me if i am wrong). and just a brief recap on what happened, the netbook was going thru an update and it stopped about 30% and shut down itself...so maybe this abrupt stop caused some drivers to malfunction...(again correct me if i am wrong). i've been reading up on stuff, and a page recommended to go about by bootrec.exe and rebuild BCD - anyone give me a heads up on what/how to do this? anyway, further suggestions/opinions please post them up as soon as possible...uni is still going and i am in dire need to get this netbook back to life... thanks in advance.

I am not sure but when the computer boots up yo can try and press F8 key and from the options screen try to use the last known good configuration. OR Why don't you try recovering your computer to factory defaults from the recovery partition or the recovery DVDs? Usually when the computer boots up, you can press F11, F10 keys to initiate the recovery process. In your case try to find out what is the default assigned key for the recovery process, or if it is a recovery process installed on your machine. In addition you can try reinstall windows if you have the windows DVD. Good Luck! Please do not forget to select the best answer if it helps you!
