I guess my problem is very unusual since I tried searching for it in the web and no one ever faced it.

my problem is that Windows explorer won't search at all. I know some people suffered from the "file not found'' issue but my problem is way worse I don't even get that

when I try to search for a certain file in a certain folder nothing shows up nothing changes, the search tool won't filter !

the only change that happens is that I can see the searched name in the title bar but nothing else really happens.

I tried refreshing my computer but the problem still exists.

For this problem, first of all, try to use system built-in troubleshooter for test:

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories\Search and Index

If no use, try to rebuild Search Index manually for test:

Control Panel\Search\Advanced\Rebuild
