Hi, I kept getting "windows explorer has stopped working". Tried several suggestions. I ended up re installing windows 7 pro 64 bits. The problem showed up again. Then I read a post, dont remember where `cause I searched the web for many days, that it might be caused by the mouse pointer... strange? I changed it from white (aero) to windows black, (system scheme). So far, 3 weeks have passed - no problem. Hope it helps.
