Windows does not complete shutdown.
Running Windows XP Professional x64. System randomly does not complete the shutdown process. It will get to the stage "Windows is shutting down" and not go any further. My only solution has been to hold down the on/off button to complete the shutdown. As stated this is a random occurrence, on the other occasions shutdown completes without a problem. What is going on here?
